It's Okay to Say I Love You

Macho attitudes and selfish pride,

These are the things that keep us from saying I Love You.

Calloused hearts and thick brains,

 These are the things that keep us from saying I Love You.

Fear and jealousy, anger and strife,

These are the things that keep us from saying I Love You.

Three simple words that's what they are,

Words close to the heart and stretch real far.

They heal the pain and calm a storm,

They bring a smile to the face and mend the worn.

Words to build you up and keep you from being blue,

Three simple words, they are...I LOVE YOU! 

It's Ok

It's ok to hurt... we all do at some point.

It's ok to feel saddness...it's our hearts way of saying we care

It's ok to cry...it's Gods' way of purging our pain.

It's ok to smile...It's our glimmer of hope.

It's ok to laugh...it means you have a friend.

It's ok to love...That's what Jesus gave us.

O.K. so it was a pretty amuzing day! I have seen people (on both side of the fence) get caught up in this black thing. Those of you that know me you know where I stand on this issue Check the Evangelism University book 2004 and 2005. One of the things that is always lacking in situations like this is communication.(I mean from both sides) I can understand why people get upset (again on both sides) but what I cannot understand is the fact that people just will not listen. Slams, backbiting, stabbing in the back, talking rude and "pitchin' a fit" as my momma would say just will not get you anywhere. Fortuanately and Unfortunately we all have rules to follow, things and ways that we are guided by.(whereever you go your gonna find them). Well, I'm gonna make a difference! I think if we ALL (me included) focused all the time spent in griping about this situation and applied this to prayer and building ourselves up spiritually this stuff wouldn't matter very much. I Love you guys too much to see you get upset over something like this. Just a reminder: We are not here very long so in the long run "Does it REALLY matter?" 

Keep praying for my dad: he's better, just has a long way to go.
